This week we will be covering absolute value equations and inequalities. This will be the last topic taught before your common assessment next week. The assessment schedule for next week is as follows:

Solving Equations
This week we will be working with solving equations. Students have been exposed to solving one and two step equations in previous years, so we will begin with that to serve as a refresher for some, and a reteach for others. We will then work our way through multi-step equations that will have variables on both sides of the equal sign. This will be a new concept for my students, but I am confident that they will get it in no time. Equations are like the see-saw at the playground, in order for it to be balanced, we must remember "whatever is done to one side, must be done to the other side."

Princeton Class Representatives
It's that time of the year, time to pick who will represent our Princeton homeroom best. The ballots have been counted and the winners have been chosen. Our class representatives for 2015-2016 will be Herby Romero and David Vasquez. Congrats! I know you will do our class proud. :)
