On behalf of the 8th grade team, we would like to let you, our students, know how proud we are of all the hard work you all have put forth, since day one. Even though there are days where we test each other’s’ patience or you catch us about to pull our hair out, we want to remind you that we have these frustrations because we want the best for you and from you.
Our hopes are that you will each reach your highest potential, and as a whole SOAR. It has been an honor watching you discover slowly but surely just how far your intelligence has taken you in just a short few months.
Now, the time has come to put all that daily brain exercise to use and show everyone at RGCCISD just how hard you’ve been working here at Ac2E Middle. I BELIEVE IN YOU!
The upcoming week should be filled with family & fun. Relax, don't stress about school and re-energize! When we return on Monday, it will be a short 4 day week with the Easter holiday that Friday. We will use those few days to touch up on some last minute STAAR skills to make sure every one of you achieves that Level III status the following week! I believe in you!
The moment we have been preparing for, is around the corner. Please do not be absent. Every review session is critical and will make the difference between just passing and achieving that level 3 that I know you can all accomplish. The countdown is on, Math STAAR exam in 9 days!
This week we will be reviewing all of Reporting Category 1 for our upcoming STAAR exam in exactly 19 school days! Attendance is crucial. Make sure to take notes and ask lots of questions. Remember we are aiming for those level 3s. This Friday will also be our youth fair trip, so make sure to turn in your permission slips.
This week we will be taking the District Benchmark #2 for Mathematics & Reading. Please be sure to get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast so that you can concentrate and do your best. I believe in you!

Welcome Back! We have lots to do in a short amount of time so let's be at school, on time and on task to make sure we get done all that we need to! :) Let's keep a positive attitude about our new bell schedule, and remember that it has been put in place to help us not hurt us.
